According to legend, "Gydi" was the discoverer and founder of Grindelwald, and thus the first person in the breathtaking Eiger Valley. So it stands to reason that the rustic cellar bar was named after him.
During the winter season, the Gydis Bar is open on Fridays and Saturdays for hotel and external guests.
