The Reeti is the highest point in the area west of the First ski area and a demanding alpine peak. The panoramic view is fantastic and makes your heart beat faster. Until you're upstairs, some work is required. The ascent is partly steep and sloping. At about 2,540 metres above sea level you climb a 40° steep band eastwards through the rocky outcrop. After a flatter game you reach the summit over the southeast ridge. The whole slope is rocky and over 40° steep. Depending on the ratio, the last meters of the climb must be walked on foot. Watch out for the edge of the ridge.
In safe conditions you can descend directly from the summit through the very steep couloirs (> 40°). If this is not possible, you drive back the same distance as when you climbed up. The varied drive over Bachläger, Waldspitz to Bort completes the tour.
NE – E at Reeti (otherwise E – SW)
Oberjoch, mountain station chair lift Oberjoch
Bort, gondola middle station
The tour is suitable for skiers and snowboarders (splitboard or snowshoes)
The slopes north of the winter hiking trail First - Faulhorn are situated in the federal hunting ban area and should not be used. The descending traverse from the Oberjoch is tolerated, but it must not be climbed in these southern slopes.
A game sanctuary extends from the southern slopes of the Reeti to the slopes west of Uf Spitzen. Therefore, it is essential to leave from the east side.
