Bussalp

A paradise for hikers in summer, a tobogganing mecca in winter.

The cosy mountain restaurant with its large sun terrace and unique panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is located on the Bussalp (1800 m above sea level).

The yellow Grindelwald buses take you directly and easily to the centre of the hiking paradise. Enjoy the journey with magnificent views of the mountains around the Grindelwald valley.

Summer
The Bussalp mountain restaurant offers a large terrace with breathtaking panoramic views, an AlpLounge with couches and a sunbathing lawn. After a long hike, you can unwind in the deckchairs and relax your feet in a Kneipp bath. And of course, the sunset against the backdrop of Grindelwald's magnificent mountains is best experienced here in a cosy atmosphere, accompanied by traditional hut dishes and culinary excursions through the region's mountain world.

The Bussalp is the perfect location for your everyday holiday, whether you're travelling alone, with friends, colleagues or club members.

Winter
Crown your stay in Grindelwald with a night-time sledge run after a delicious cheese fondue in the Bussalp mountain restaurant. (Booking is essential; the run is not floodlit).
In the sunny Bussalp-First area, you can also choose from 48 km of well-maintained trails for shorter walks as well as more challenging snow hikes in a beautiful mountain landscape.
