The Ischboden Hut is a small and cosy mountain inn at 1400 m above sea level, situated on the road to the Grosse Scheidegg. The hut is about a 40-minute walk from the upper Grindelwald glacier. In summer, you can reach the hut on foot via the hiking trail, by bike or by PostBus. The PostBus stop is right in front of the house. In winter, the Ischboden hut can be reached on foot, with snowshoes or by sledge. The hut is located opposite the Alpine Bird Park.
