The house is located at the northern end of the village of Grindelwald, not far from the road to the Upper Glacier and close to the Bort - Grindelwald ski slope, surrounded by residential and vacation homes. The grassland begins behind the house, where hay is harvested in summer and cows graze in the fall.

It has 24 beds spread over 5 rooms (4-6 beds per room) on the second floor. The first floor consists of a spacious lounge and the kitchen. The lounge has a cozy reading and play corner. The kitchen is well equipped and has a hob, oven, fridge and sink. In the basement there are toilets, washrooms for men and women and showers. Wet skis or hiking boots can be conveniently dried in the boot drying facility. Wet clothes can be hung up to dry in the basement. The active ventilation system ensures that wet clothes are dry again quickly.
