Oberaarjochhütte SAC

Remote, spectacular mountain accommodation that has retained its traditional charm to this day. It hangs over the abyss as if glued to the rock, with access via ladders, a rocky ledge and the covered gallery. The hut and path are protected from falling rocks by nets. Access stage from the Grimsel area towards the Finsteraarhorn and Aletsch Glacier. In spring, conditions are often good with a snow-covered glacier and stable snow conditions.
