The Alpine Bird Park in Grindelwald is located on the way between the village and the Grosse Scheidegg in the Ischboden. Mainly native bird species are kept and cared for in nine aviaries. The animals are regularly fed and checked for their health by trained helpers and carers. There is a bus stop right next to the park, and the Alpine Bird Park can be reached on foot from Hotel Wetterhorn in 45 minutes via the mountain road. The road is only accessible to cars with a permit.
