Hotel Bellevue des Alpes
Grand hotel from the 19th century
The Hotel Bellevue des Alpes is one of the few grand hotels of the 19th century still in existence. It is located on Kleine Scheidegg, high above Grindelwald and Wengen, at 2070 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, surrounded by alpine beauty. As the centre of the skiing and hiking region, Kleine Scheidegg is also the direct starting point to the Jungfraujoch. The historically significant hotel is still run as a family business today. Attached to the hotel is a daytime restaurant with 150 seats.
