Practice for manual therapies

I imagine a tree. It has healthy roots, a strong trunk and beautiful foliage. The climate is always changing and the tree is constantly changing. It adapts to the seasons, sometimes it loses a branch in a storm, but it stands there. If the tree can no longer regulate itself, be it through an injury to the roots, then the tree becomes ill.
To overcome these stressful circumstances, the tree needs resources that it can obtain. To save energy, it takes up nutrients with its remaining roots or drops leaves.
