Fishing at Bachalpsee
The Bachalpsee, a picturesque mountain lake in Grindelwald, offers a unique backdrop for keen anglers and can be reached within an hour from the mountain station of the First cable car. The season runs from 15 June to 31 October.
A special fishing licence is required for fishing at Bachalpsee. This licence can be purchased at the Grindelwald Tourism counter for either one day (CHF 30) or four days (CHF 100).
Each catch must be recorded with species and length in the catch statistics and deposited in the letterbox at the shelter by the lake at the end of the fishing day. A maximum of 4 fish with a minimum length of 27 cm for all species may be caught per day .
