The local history museum is located in the "Talhaus" next to the church. The collection, started by local people many years ago, reflects the origins of a village which relied initially on farming alone and then developed into an international tourist resort.

Permanent exhibitions on agriculture and alpine farming, mountaineering, mountain guides, Eiger, winter sports, railways, crafts and technology.

Special exhibitions changing every six months.
