Programme: Book launch and exhibition with artist and author Hans Jossi and art expert Alain Blank. With presentations by Adolf Ogi (former Federal Councillor) and Werner Luginbühl.

SAC Culture Day | 12.10.
When: Sunday, 12 October 2025 – 5 p.m.
Where: Grindelwald Congress Hall
Programme: Guided tour of the exhibition ‘Jossi's 8,000-metre peaks in oil – Grindelwald greets the mountains of the world’: Narrative about his adventures in the Himalayas and Karakorum and discussion of the paintings.

Day hike | 13. & 16.10.
When: Monday & Thursday, 13 & 16 October 2025
Where: First – Lauchbühl – Upper Glacier
Programme: A day hike with stunning views of the highest peaks in the Bernese Alps and the glacier-strewn landscape. An experienced mountain guide will lead the tour and talk about mountain climbing in the Alps and ‘on the mountains of the world’.

Eigerness Workshop "Vision Eigerness" | 14.10.
When: Tuesday, 14 October 2025 – 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Grindelwald Congress Hall
Programme: Input presentation and discussion with tourism expert and initiator of ‘Inser Hoarmat’ Peter Nagel from Bavaria. Moderated workshop with service providers in Grindelwald on the ‘Vision Eigerness’. Followed by a joint aperitif.

Eigerness Autumn Market ‘Original Grindelwald’ | 15.10.
When: Wednesday, 15 October 2025 – 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where: Grindelwald Congress Hall
Programme: Accompanied by a photo exhibition, market stalls offering local delicacies invite visitors to sample, shop and linger. Performance/accompaniment by the music group ‘Balmer Folk’.

Multimedia show with high-altitude mountaineer Hans Kammerlander | 17. & 18.10.
When: Friday & Saturday, 17 & 18 October 2025 – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Grindelwald Congress Hall
Programme: Hans Kammerlander has climbed 12 of the 14 8,000-metre peaks on display and will discuss Hans Jossi's photographs in his lecture.
