Block by block . Build a real igloo under expert instruction.

Together we will reach our igloo building site in the snow-covered, magical Jungfrau Region on foot, by sledge or on snowshoes.

Under the expert instruction of your OUTDOOR guides, you will build your own igloo block by block. The building skills of the Inuit require perseverance, precision and co-operation. We start by sawing out the individual snow blocks from the compact snow field prepared by a snow groomer. We then lay the snow blocks on top of each other in a circle, getting tighter and tighter towards the top until the igloo dome is completed. While enjoying a warm drink, you can exchange your newly acquired expertise. An aperitif and/or dinner rounds off your OUTDOOR experience in the Jungfrau Region.
